Writing a book Empty Writing a book

Post by Warheroguy Sat Aug 07, 2010 11:05 am

I'm currently writing a book, which is basically about my friend and all the stuff he's been through. How his life is depressing and empty. All because of one girl, and how they changed each other's lives. It's an extremely sad story and I hope to capture the emotions and empty it onto paper. "It's just a bad memory" but "No matter how much I try, I can't forget her".

I'll try and write it, but I need more information, I just don't want to ask about it...

well you could either go straight out an ask (yes its gonna be pretty f'ing awkward, but theres a chance he'll open up and let you in, but you also run the risk of the situation turning ugly which can have disaterous consequences) OR you can slowly gather information bit by bit by either asking him a couple of indirect questions and putting 2 and 2 together or by observation.
now, the 1st one is instantaneous but has a risk.
the 2nd one takes a while but has an extremely low risk.
hope i helped Smile

Haha ya, well I'm going with Number 1 Smile Even though it will be a bit awkward, there's no other way I will get enough information to carry a whole storyline. He's actually for it all now, so I'm sure he can even co-write a bit of it. We'll see Smile
